Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Washington, DC
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
- to weekly Republican Conference meeting. Focus entirely on Pelosi healthcare bill. We could be in Washington through the weekend and into next Tuesday (11/10) as Dems put pressure on for votes. They don't want their members going home and being subjected to pressure before the vote.

10:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - to House floor for speech by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Very pro-American. Strong on Afghanistan and anti-terror.

12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. - Routine votes on House floor.

1:00 p.m. - 1:10 p.m. - MSNBC interview with Andrea Mitchell on NY-23 Congressional race.

3:45 p.m. - 3:55 p.m. - Jay Winuk to office. Today he obtained his late brother Glenn's 9/11 Medal of Valor. Long fight but successful conclusion.

4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - To Intelligence Committee.

5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. - Votes on House floor including resolution denouncing U.N. report unjustly critical of Israel.
