Thoughts on March 13th Fundraiser
The March 13th St. Patrick's Day fundraiser at Mulcahy's is off to a good start. Invitations are in the mail and we're already getting a solid response.
I'm very proud of the outstanding people who have agreed to co-chair the event: Jimmy Boyle & Bill Thomas - - Firefighters for King; John Vigiano - - Veterans for King; and Andy Mulrain - - Law Enforcement for King.
This is an event for real people not politically correct special interests. It will send a strong message that hard-working, patriotic Americans want me to keep speaking out - - saying publicly what they believe.
Thursday, February 18th
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon - tape interview at district office with Marcia Kramer (WCBS-TV) about security breaches at Newark Airport (for 6:00 p.m. news).
1:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - meet with Brannon Burke and her father Jim to discuss 9/11 trials for a school paper Brannon is writing. She is a high school junior. Her uncle Bill (FDNY) was killed at WTC on 9/11 when he stayed behind to help a quadriplegic.
6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - boxing workout at Bellmore.
