10:30 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. - attend firefighter-homeland security equipment display at 1539 Longworth.
11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - meet with Curtiss-Wright (LI company) to discuss status of aircraft carrier legislation.
11:45 a.m. - 12:00 noon - news conference with John Boehner appointing me to head the Republican National Security Issues Group. (See here)
12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - votes on House floor.
1:05 p.m. - 1:20 p.m. - meet with leaders of American-Russian-Jewish community.
1:30 p.m. - 1:40 p.m. - vote on House floor.
1:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. - Intelligence Committee briefing on Flight 253.
2:20 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. - meet with NY Fire Chiefs in 345 Cannon.
4:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. - votes on House floor.
7:35 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. - speak at Annual Congressional Fire Service Institute Dinner at Washington Hilton. Great crowd.
9:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. - US Air Shuttle to LaGuardia.

9:00 a.m. - 10:05 a.m. - attend FDNY retiree breakfast at Lighthouse Diner in Massapequa.
