5:00 p.m.
Security briefing on NYPD-FBI raid in Flushing. Make several news appearances to defend the Joint Terrorism Task Force decision to make these raids.
Tuesday, September 15th
6:40 a.m.
Telephone interview with John Gambling regarding terrorist raids and health care.
9:00 a.m. - 10 a.m.
GOP Conference meeting in 345 Cannon. Overwhelming opposition to proposed resolution against Joe Wilson, believing it is overkill and a cheap partisan effort to divert attention from health care debate.
11:45 a.m.
To Senate Russell Building for FOX interview on FBI raids
5:15 p.m.
To House floor to vote against Joe Wilson resolution. Final vote 240-179.
7:30 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.
Dinner meeting at British Embassy with British Ambassador, Member of Parliament and former Cabinet official David Blunkett. Good conversation regarding terrorism.

To Fox Studios on Capitol Hill for Good Day NY (WNYW). Defended NYPD against anonymous FBI criticism of Monday's raid in Flushing. For more on raids click here.
